The P45 Compact 88-Key Portable Digital Piano from Yamaha features an improved grand piano sound created by AWM Stereo Sampling. Its 88-key graded hammer-action keyboard models the action of an acoustic piano and provides four levels of touch sensitivity.

The keyboard includes grand piano, electric piano, organ, strings, harpsichord, and vibraphone voices with 64-note polyphony. It features metronome, transpose and tuning calibration functions as well as 4 types of reverb. The keyboard can also be split into layers or Duo mode for teaching. A USB to host port allows for use of the keyboard as a MIDI controller.
