Better known as an actress than a vocalist, Lola Albright (1924-2017) enjoyed her greatest fame in the late ’50s and early ’60s due to her role on the television series Peter Gunn.

She only recorded two albums, the first of which, Lola Wants You (1957), has her backed by an orchestra conducted and arranged by Dean Elliott, and featuring celebrated trumpeter Don Fagerquist.

Five bonus tracks from her second LP are included, all of which are conducted and arranged by Henry Mancini.
