In addition to being the Boss’ third album (released in August, 1975), Born To Run was also Bruce Springsteen’s big break into the mainstream, peaking at #3 on the charts and selling over 6 million copies domestically. Not only did it spawn two successful singles – the title track “Born To Run” and “Tenth Avenue Freeze Out” – it is widely considered as one of the greatest pop/rock albums of all time. This 2015 pressing features newly remastered sound from the original source tapes.
